REMINDER: If you happen to be traveling to some rad, faraway land, please bring T-Mac a sample of Earth from your location for her soil collection. A spoonful of dirt from your spot in a little container or bag will be just fine!

Please complete the Measuring Earthquakes: Richter Scale Questions for 3.29 (the direct link to the YouTube video can be found HERE). Your answers should be on a separate sheet of paper.

Assignment #3 (due 3.28)

Please research and answer the following questions. You can use any reference necessary--your research should not take more than 15-20 minutes. NOTE: Please record the resources you used to find your answers.

1. When were the three most recent earthquakes in the Pacific Northwest?
2. Where did each earthquake occur (provide a location name and GPS coordinates)?
3. What was the magnitude of each earthquake on the Richter Scale?

Please complete the Tectonic Plate ID assignment for 3.23. Please use the map at THIS LINK for help on the assignment (NOT the one on the assignment sheet).

Assignment #1 (due 3.21)

Please complete the Tectonic Plates: How Puzzling? assignment for 3.21. Your map should include labeled continents/landmasses and color-coded symbols for each. Your finished assignment should be glued to Page 3 and ready to be handed in at the beginning of class.
